The Story

Levante is the wind of origin, and this is the last that proves it: a straight line from toe to heel, with no extra seam or curve to interrupt it. The suede is cut in a single piece per side, mounted by hand on the last, and stitched to the jute edge with the same point the workshop uses on every pair that leaves Martains. The sole, braided jute and sun-cured terracotta. Inside, a leather insole and heel guard, hand-stitched, hold the foot without squeezing it. The minimum, made without hurry.
