La galerna doesn't stop where other lasts call the work finished. The suede covers the entire upper in terracotta, the tongue rises in a curve, and at the heel a jute braid keeps climbing, turn by turn, hand-stitched with needle and waxed thread. The sole is born from the same jute, thickly braided and cured with the terracotta that signs every pair of Martains. Inside, a leather insole and heel guard grip the foot with every step instead of merely dressing it. Made start to finish in a Spanish workshop, by the same hands.
